UPDATED Nose Size Reduction via Softmaxing Guide

seen a few of these and i absolutely hate them. those fucking nerds would sit there saying shit like this, except what they dont realize is that when they say “hum this side effect from corticosteroids”, they are referring to ALL corticosteroids. of course, if you spam betamethasone (600% stronger than hydro) you may get some shit like that - and even then, i have not had one report from even that shit (although i do always recommend for people to stick to hc, as it gives all the shrinkage needed without the added risks). if you have crazy skin reactions to hydrocortisone - then im sorry, but your skin is just fucked, and its simply not for you. most hc can do on 99% of people is make the skin slightly pink for a few mins after application, that’s literally it.

By no means is this medical advice. Even though the risks are relatively low, everyone is different and some people may respond to this differently than others (although as I said, the majority should be fine).

"Wait, have you had a nose job?",
two girls that I met at a casino asked me as I got talking to them.
I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that because, although I knew that this method works, I did not realize, until then, just how much my nose has ascended thanks to it.

Hence,

I present to you, by far, one of the most underrated looksmaxes on this forum.

The reason why I'm making an updated version is not only due to what I've said above, but also because I have learned a lot more on this topic since I've made the original thread.

Hydrocortisone Info & Proper Usage

My Progress & Testimonials

Hydrocortisone Info:

I have already talked about this in the first thread, but I will repeat it anyways in a concise way:

Hydrocortisone (HC) is a topical corticosteroid (again, no, not the "scary" anabolic/androgenic steroid for any giga high inhibcels) used to treat inflammation, redness, swelling, etc.

One of its side effects is thinning of skin, which is exactly why it is so effective when it comes to shrinking your nose.

Potential Side Effects of 1% Hydrocortisone (uncommon, mild):

- Skin atrophy (1)
- Rosacea-like eruptions (1)

If you experience any of these, take a break or hop off for good.

Proper Usage of Hydrocortisone:

Apply two pea-sized drops of 1% hydrocortisone cream onto your nose and spread evenly around the cartilage, including the bottom of the nose. I recommend you do not go above the tip of the nose and onto the nose bridge, as we do not want skin thinning there, as it can make the dorsa more prominent. Rub the cream in thoroughly, after which, remove any excess HC from around the nose, but do keep a layer of it on the desired area for about five minutes, then take that off as well. After a few minutes, if not straight away, water may start leeching out of the top of your nose, which is technically a good thing, so just keep wiping it off, that should persist to up to 15 minutes. The effects of hydrocortisone should last for up to an entire day.

Hydrocortisone Regimen:

Get your body used to it. First, apply the cream for two weeks straight, once a day, no matter what. Results most likely won't be very significant from the very first time you apply it.
After that is done, only apply it when you need your nose to shrink, such as when you're going out.

Hydrocortisone's Effects on Your HPA Axis:

If you want to know exactly what you HPA axis is, go look it up. In short terms, it is a system of glands that regulates your stress response and involves the following organs:

Some people have asked me things along the lines of "but xnj, what about you HPA axis, won't that get fucked with while you're on it?".

So here is the answer to this question:

Hydrocortisone raises cortisol. However, one may think that it does not do it to an extent, especially in such low, almost negligible dosages, where it has some sort of effect on the rest of your body, right? Wrong. After prolonged use, your body will feel the slight change and will adapt to it, potentially causing you a bit of trouble.

Preserving Your HPA Axis:
Since HC raises your cortisol, we need something that lowers it. Here is where Ashwagandha comes into play. You know how people claim it has "testosterone-boosting" effects? Well that is the case because it lowers your cortisol (which is what can stagnate test production, hence the claims).

Take 500-800mg (depending on your brand's dosage per pill)
right before you apply the cream. You can keep doing that for about 8 weeks, after which I suggest you take a 4-week break from ashwagandha, whilst also slightly lowering your HC usage. After that, you can resume just as usual.

Since I've mentioned it in my first thread, I will not be giving any in-depth advice on retinoids in this thread, as all you need to do to make your nose shrink from them, is follow their usual regimens. All I'm going to say is that it does shrink the nose in most cases, however not all skin complexions/conditions are predisposed to said shrinkage. But whether to use it or not - is up to you. Take a dermatologist's advice, or at the very least, find reputable threads here if you do want to use it (I'm on about general usage btw, not exclusively for the nose).

Hence,

I tried the method but only with hydro cortisol, It's been around 2 months of doing it by weekly every other day and I've seen great results. Only negative thing I've noticed is that my nose is dry as fuck, It's not something ppl see but when I touch it its super dry. But besides that It's very worth it.
Is it resolved after moisturizing?

Yeah but not fully, my nose has like 0 oil in it so its always dry if I don't use moisturizer. Kinda sucks but its worth it.

Do i have to basically do this for life?
it does have some permanent effects if taken for long enough
hi guys , i just ordered hydricortisol 1% here in italy (8eur). I'll follo perfecty step by step the guide above , but i have just 2 question :
1. after the 2 starting weeks I must to use it only when I want that temporary result ?
2. for example I want the effect on my nose for the evening , do i use it during the morning or when?
thanks!!
1. whenever you want
2. in the evening before going out

Do you have tips on narrowing my nosebridge? I'm asian so its kind of wide
this can help shrink cartilage around the nose bridge, but thats about most you can do softmax-wise

seen a few of these and i absolutely hate them. those fucking nerds would sit there saying shit like this, except what they dont realize is that when they say “hum this side effect from corticosteroids”, they are referring to ALL corticosteroids. of course, if you spam betamethasone (600% stronger than hydro) you may get some shit like that - and even then, i have not had one report from even that shit (although i do always recommend for people to stick to hc, as it gives all the shrinkage needed without the added risks). if you have crazy skin reactions to hydrocortisone - then im sorry, but your skin is just fucked, and its simply not for you. most hc can do on 99% of people is make the skin slightly pink for a few mins after application, that’s literally it.
@Sadist dawg do you need suppliment ashwagandha forever if you want to try this method?
