@Sadist dawg do you need suppliment ashwagandha forever if you want to try this method?seen a few of these and i absolutely hate them. those fucking nerds would sit there saying shit like this, except what they dont realize is that when they say “hum this side effect from corticosteroids”, they are referring to ALL corticosteroids. of course, if you spam betamethasone (600% stronger than hydro) you may get some shit like that - and even then, i have not had one report from even that shit (although i do always recommend for people to stick to hc, as it gives all the shrinkage needed without the added risks). if you have crazy skin reactions to hydrocortisone - then im sorry, but your skin is just fucked, and its simply not for you. most hc can do on 99% of people is make the skin slightly pink for a few mins after application, that’s literally it.
nah, only from time to time@Sadist dawg do you need suppliment ashwagandha forever if you want to try this method?
Thanks for confirming raffersimmonsr, I will forward the message to everyone.after following this guide using hydrocortisone cream i can confirm this actually works, thank you
Mirin the new contributor badgenah, only from time to time
ive had it for ages but thanksMirin the new contributor badge![]()
Huh...WHAT!?ive had it for ages but thanks
good boyThanks for confirming raffersimmonsr, I will forward the message to everyone.
really many thanks brother !!!it does have some permanent effects if taken for long enough
1. whenever you want
2. in the evening before going out
this can help shrink cartilage around the nose bridge, but thats about most you can do softmax-wise
doubt it but u can trycan i also use this to make my nose less long?
thins skin and reduces inflammationyo dude how does this work? is it like accutane where the oil gets reduced? (sorry for the stupid question) also is there an alternative for ashwaganda?
your nose will shrinkhypothetically what'd happen if i used it for a month straight 1x a day, would there be any bad effects?
I cant get 1% hc where i live but i can get 0.5% do u have any advice on if i should still get it and try or use more?By no means is this medical advice. Even though the risks are relatively low, everyone is different and some people may respond to this differently than others (although as I said, the majority should be fine).
"Wait, have you had a nose job?",
two girls that I met at a casino asked me as I got talking to them.
I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that because, although I knew that this method works, I did not realize, until then, just how much my nose has ascended thanks to it.

The reason why I'm making an updated version is not only due to what I've said above, but also because I have learned a lot more on this topic since I've made the original thread.

Table Of Contents:
Hydrocortisone Info & Proper Usage Preserving Your HPA Axis Quick Word on Retinoids (see spoiler) My Progress & Testimonials
Hydrocortisone Info:
I have already talked about this in the first thread, but I will repeat it anyways in a concise way:
Hydrocortisone (HC) is a topical corticosteroid (again, no, not the "scary" anabolic/androgenic steroid for any giga high inhibcels) used to treat inflammation, redness, swelling, etc.
One of its side effects is thinning of skin, which is exactly why it is so effective when it comes to shrinking your nose.
Potential Side Effects of 1% Hydrocortisone (uncommon, mild):
- Skin atrophy (1)
- Rosacea-like eruptions (1)
If you experience any of these, take a break or hop off for good.
Proper Usage of Hydrocortisone:
Apply two pea-sized drops of 1% hydrocortisone cream onto your nose and spread evenly around the cartilage, including the bottom of the nose. I recommend you do not go above the tip of the nose and onto the nose bridge, as we do not want skin thinning there, as it can make the dorsa more prominent. Rub the cream in thoroughly, after which, remove any excess HC from around the nose, but do keep a layer of it on the desired area for about five minutes, then take that off as well. After a few minutes, if not straight away, water may start leeching out of the top of your nose, which is technically a good thing, so just keep wiping it off, that should persist to up to 15 minutes. The effects of hydrocortisone should last for up to an entire day.
Hydrocortisone Regimen:
Get your body used to it. First, apply the cream for two weeks straight, once a day, no matter what. Results most likely won't be very significant from the very first time you apply it.
After that is done, only apply it when you need your nose to shrink, such as when you're going out.
Hydrocortisone's Effects on Your HPA Axis:
If you want to know exactly what you HPA axis is, go look it up. In short terms, it is a system of glands that regulates your stress response and involves the following organs:
Some people have asked me things along the lines of "but xnj, what about you HPA axis, won't that get fucked with while you're on it?".
So here is the answer to this question:
Hydrocortisone raises cortisol. However, one may think that it does not do it to an extent, especially in such low, almost negligible dosages, where it has some sort of effect on the rest of your body, right? Wrong. After prolonged use, your body will feel the slight change and will adapt to it, potentially causing you a bit of trouble.
Preserving Your HPA Axis:Since HC raises your cortisol, we need something that lowers it. Here is where Ashwagandha comes into play. You know how people claim it has "testosterone-boosting" effects? Well that is the case because it lowers your cortisol (which is what can stagnate test production, hence the claims).
Take 500-800mg (depending on your brand's dosage per pill) right before you apply the cream. You can keep doing that for about 8 weeks, after which I suggest you take a 4-week break from ashwagandha, whilst also slightly lowering your HC usage. After that, you can resume just as usual.
Since I've mentioned it in my first thread, I will not be giving any in-depth advice on retinoids in this thread, as all you need to do to make your nose shrink from them, is follow their usual regimens. All I'm going to say is that it does shrink the nose in most cases, however not all skin complexions/conditions are predisposed to said shrinkage. But whether to use it or not - is up to you. Take a dermatologist's advice, or at the very least, find reputable threads here if you do want to use it (I'm on about general usage btw, not exclusively for the nose).

for me, i’d say my nose shrunk by a good 25% (big to tiny type of difference in terms of noses)On a % scale how much difference did you see or on average people seen in their nose shrinking?
u can try it. if it dont work, order it onlineI cant get 1% hc where i live but i can get 0.5% do u have any advice on if i should still get it and try or use more?
tell me about it manHow tf was this 1 year and 2 months ago already
i did mention accutane and the fact that hc wont work fo ABSOLUTELY everyone, as theres a small chunk of ppl who are not prone to its effects for nose shrinkage, but i guess the abscence of subway surfers background footage made you think you already read the thread fullyJust get accutane. Hydrocortisone did fuck all for me. In fact It made my already oily nose oilier. Not due to hydrocortisone i think, but the additional pore clogging ingredients in it
depends on how thick you apply it. i like my hc layer thick, so i leave it on to absorb for as long as a “normal” layer would take to fully disappear (absorb), then a little more (for more hc from the upper layers to potentially come through as well) before wiping off (not washing)Should i let the hydrocortisone absorb in my skin or wash it off
Where exactly do I apply it, and I keep it on overnight is that fine, and last question you do it for a week once every other day once a month?By no means is this medical advice. Even though the risks are relatively low, everyone is different and some people may respond to this differently than others (although as I said, the majority should be fine).

Take a dermatologist's advice, or at the very least, find reputable threads here if you do want to use it (I'm on about general usage btw, not exclusively for the nose).

yo man , what's your dc?By no means is this medical advice.
Hence,
I present to you, by far, one of the most underrated looksmaxes on this forum.
The reason why I'm making an updated version is not only due to what I've said above, but also because I have learned a lot more on this topic since I've made the original thread.

One of its side effects is thinning of skin, which is exactly why it is so effective when it comes to shrinking your nose.

bro its not THAT strongAshwagandha is shit, it makes you emotionally numb and unable to enjoy things in life.
well if its not obvious to you then idk what can make it soWhich one of you should i believe?
@singletyo man , what's your dc?
bro its not THAT strong![]()
bro i ran accutane for like 3 months my nose acne got much better, but shit came back what can i do ?No. If you have acne you need accutane. Hydrocortisone contains oils that worsen ur acne
dawg wtf, why both of yall giving contradicting answersyes since retinoids are a part of this thread after all
but ash is merely a cortisol inhibitor?..I have the Warrior gene/MAOA-L. So I have shit baseline dopamine and serotonin already. Ashwagandha only makes it worse.![]()
I did the 2 week protocol, with 1% 6 months after a rhino. I had exactly zero redness, or any negative side effects at all. It flushed a lot of the swelling from the rhino.seen a few of these and i absolutely hate them. those fucking nerds would sit there saying shit like this, except what they dont realize is that when they say “hum this side effect from corticosteroids”, they are referring to ALL corticosteroids. of course, if you spam betamethasone (600% stronger than hydro) you may get some shit like that - and even then, i have not had one report from even that shit (although i do always recommend for people to stick to hc, as it gives all the shrinkage needed without the added risks). if you have crazy skin reactions to hydrocortisone - then im sorry, but your skin is just fucked, and its simply not for you. most hc can do on 99% of people is make the skin slightly pink for a few mins after application, that’s literally it.
How long should i use it if I have 0.5% hydro?By no means is this medical advice. Even though the risks are relatively low, everyone is different and some people may respond to this differently than others (although as I said, the majority should be fine).

mirin. cant recommend what exactly tho and why?I did the 2 week protocol, with 1% 6 months after a rhino. I had exactly zero redness, or any negative side effects at all. It flushed a lot of the swelling from the rhino.
Can't recommend anyone else do this but I was behind on getting a Kenalog shot. So it was due for some steroids anyways.
because the other user is a retard. hc + accu is law. just use accu consistently and for a long time so that ur sebaceous glands get nuked to rapedeath, then you can jump off it confidently or keep running a low maintenance dose for good.bro i ran accutane for like 3 months my nose acne got much better, but shit came back what can i do ?
