Upper and lower lip advancements vs lip fillers?

On Eppley's website I'm seeing a ton of people get thicker more full lips without fillers just by "advancing the lower and upper lip" so using existing tissue.

I didn't even know this was a thing. Looks much more natural than fillers. This + mouth widening from Eppley could ascend a mouth. Anyone have any knowledge?

Dr. Safi mentioned something kind of like this when I consulted with him. I guess the idea is if you move the lips out they curl out more as well
