So im thinking about hitting only hitting upper body (legs are cope and dont even talk about it). So im either gonna run upper rest rest upper rest rest rest or upper rest upper rest upper rest rest. What would be the best option for a natural teenager? Is 2x leaving gains on the table or is 3x gonna destroy my recovery, each seassion has 16 working sets

i do upper every other day:love:

bro this is the worst shit ive ever heard theres studies that show how working out legs increases natural testosterone and benefits massively even with growth of other muscles just do upper lower upper rest upper lower rest

thats what i was think but isnt that gonna fry my cns
2 chest 2 back 1 shoulder 1 bicep 1 tricep second day 1 chest 1 back 1 shoulder 2 biceps 2 triceps
i think its pretty fun sometimes your chest and shoulders are exhausted tho but thats about it
but this exam week is forcing me to skip and its hell:feelswah:

legs do increase testosterone but not enough to make a difference

is that sets or exercises?

myth made by the goyims
cns fatigue is real but its pretty avoidable

aight my layout is like this, 3 sets of chest, 4 sets of shoulders (1,front,2side,1rear), 4back, 1 bicep, 1 forearm bicep, 2 triceps. (these are sets per muslce group)
you really dont need to train front if you already do that much chest i'd also just suggest getting an upper A and an upper B

Is 2x leaving gains on the table or is 3x gonna destroy my recovery,
Only you can know that by experimenting on yourself btw.

2 and 3 don’t have much difference. Do upper EOD

And you’re a pussy for not training legs you’re gonna look ridiculous

Worst advice ever. Doing different exercises for each day is the worst thing to ever happen to the fitness community

Yeah its just that if upper 2x gets more gains id rather do that but i like working out so upper 3x would be better. And i dont find it annoying or anything like that training legs, i just dont enjoy it and find no purpose wasting protein, energy for something i wouldnt want

2 chest 2 back 1 shoulder 1 bicep 1 tricep second day 1 chest 1 back 1 shoulder 2 biceps 2 triceps so you dont fatigue as fast
If you need to reduce volume in your second session you probably need to reduce volume overall lol. No need to fry your CNS and then lower the sets the next day just to make up for that…

Why not just do adequate volume that you can recover from in the first place lol

“Wasting protein” :feelspepo: really bro? Im not forcing you into doing legs but imo its a mistake you will regret later on

I would do upper 3x, just no reason to do 2x over 3x unless you don’t have time

should i just do 2 exercises for everything every other day
i do this mostly tbh but i dont like training back cause i dont have machines
You mean full body EOD? As long as you can recover from that it’s good but avoid redundancy. For example don’t do a chest press AND a pec deck since it does the same joint action so it’s redundant.

and are you home training ?

eod is okay. should add leggs 1 time per week on a off/free day. Cardio add, if you are to fat
alright alright, if i can recover from 3x i will surely do that because i love those sessions

I guess you’re a beginner so it’s great
the strict 2 sets to failure, i agree is not needed. But many people are doing too many sets, so instead i would reccomend 1-2 sets (3 is okay in some cases) depending on weak spots. Where your weakspots would need 2 and the rest 1, its about saving energy while optimising gains
