From what I’ve seen, this seems to be true.

📐 How Clavicle Angle Influences Delt Insertion:

✅ Upturned Clavicles (Slightly Angled Upward):

  • Often elevate the acromion and give more vertical “room” for the deltoid origin (where the deltoid attaches at the clavicle and scapula).
  • This can create:
    • A higher deltoid attachment (starting closer to the neck)
    • More prominent shoulder caps, since the muscle sits on top of an upward-sloping base
    • A more 3D look, especially when viewed from the front and side
    • Think of the clavicle as a scaffold — if it's slightly raised, the deltoid can hang off it in a more defined and prominent way.

Sorry bro :feelscry: but for that wide, square look you will need straight ones

My clavicles are quite straight but I’ve noticed this looks good too.

Also it’s slightly upturned. Like this. I’m not talking about highly upturned

This is what I mean. It’s not completely straight, and most people with this have very full delts
I have exactly this type, 24 inch in width I don't have much mass so 25 inch with muscles is possible :feelshehe:

I've got a wider frame than him, but my shoulders are downturned maybe from shit posture growing up
Shape will always be king, so long as you aren't sufficiently deficient in size

Same with bonemass (Arvid)

Clavicle shape is the most important frame trait. Even if you have average sized ones, but they’re at a good angle, you can greatly broaden your frame. If you have downturned ones (bone), all muscle you add will sag down rather than project laterally.

In your case, it sounds more like a posture issue than actual bone placement.

Shoulders are the most important thing by far. They influence your look in clothes.

The rest doesn’t matter as much unless you want to be a fitness influencer.

Most important traits are:
Wide shoulders
Thick neck
Well sized, proportional veiny forearms
Proportional hips.

Do u still think slightly curved are ideal? I have slightly curved i noticed other people do develop good delts with it like moreplatesmoredates I also feel like a slight curve makes the shoulders look more square super straight can make your shoulders look low set and neck look super long
