Usage of tretinoin alone?

Recently, i bought tretinoin 0.025% and only after that i read threads that i should do sandwich method with moisturizer and sunscreen. Genuinely curious, what will happen if i use it alone, is it that bad? moisturizer and sunscreen r on the way and will be delivered in 3-7 days.

Much better to sandwich to keep skin barrier safe. Tret can increase risk of UV damage as well, wrecking your barrier as well as collagen production. Def worth to sandwich I reckon
