Why is it recommended to stop Retin-A a few days in-between sessions? Is it just irritation? Theoretically shouldn't allowing tretinoin to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin make it more effective for remodelling collagen and making it work better on atrophic scars?

Microonedling supposedly thins out your already thin skin from retin a, i use accutane and still microonedle idgaf, idk about retin a tho
