The only thing I can ever agree with vegans on is how inhumane industrial farming of animals can be but even then its just a complete stretch

buying from a farmer or butchering animals yourself is the best approach especially if you want high quality meat

Def for sure, with butcheries you also even catch them injecting water into cuts of meat so they can sell them for higher prices as they are priced per kg

It was something I was talking to abt with an old chef who is rly familiar with the food industry in general, he told me about it while I was saying how a supposedly high end steak that I bought from the butcher felt watery and not as good as I would think and he said its most likely from them injecting water before the sale of the meat in order to up the price for them because they use scales and weights to price the cuts per kg
