I'm truly sorry about your lack of eye to detail. The difference is overwhelmingly clear. Nice to know you can't rate too. I see a deformed 3/10 in the before and a masc 5.5/10 in the after.

In fact I have yet to see better improvement to lips and philtrum in a bimax than this case.

The real question is how much did it actually change his front for the better though. Improving side profile is mostly cope imo and so many bimax and genio surgeries seem to make minuscule changes from the front view, which is all that really matters.

Unless you're extremely recessed or have a severe underbite, most change from the front isn't life changing. Look at the average result, the side profile is better, but the front is marginally changed. The point is though, now that your jaws are in a better position, you have base to make things like a rhino or eye support look 100x better than just doing those procedures alone.

I’ve been considering bimax/genio myself but I’m not convinced it’s going to be worth tens of thousands of dollars when it’ll only significantly change my side profile meaning I’ll be boosted probably 0.25 PSL points.

Have you never seen people with a dorsal hump and recessed jaws get a rhinoplasty? It looks okay, but had they corrected their recession and then got a rhinoplasty, it'd look much better. Similarly, fixing an issue like your eyes or midface helps, but it'll always be shadowed by the recessive chin/jaw, because harmony of all your features matters - leaving those detracts from the quality of other features. Bimax, imo, is a good base surgery, especially if you want more augmentation in the lower third/chin. The best results tend to be people with really good features that aren't noticed due to their jaw issues or those going in with significant under/over/open bites. Unless you have noticeable issues like a really bad lower third, etc it doesn't really change the front a lot.

Exclude second and third classes, and pretend you have a good bite: a Bimax with CCW: delete nasolabian folds, increase lips, increase smiling (because the teeth are more forward) inclines philtrum (aesthetic) giving illusion that shortens midface and gonions are more notable.

What if you have an overbite? I have everything you mentioned as an after and I look subhuman because of my overbite and recessed jaw. Lips too big, nasiolabial folds nonexistent, smile too big cause mouth pushed forward. Yet a recessed jaw. Not sure what to do there except maybe ccw but who knows if that will do enough.

I paid more than that and the recovery sucked for 1 - 2 days then you get used to it - most people are pussy and whine too much about the recovery. Granted, there's unlucky people that get a nerve cut or have some complications.
