You can't live without working. You are made to be engaged in some kind of activity. Stop blindly believing what the low iq goatis guy says. He is a faggot, abuser and doesn't know what he is talking about.

I stopped finding fun in them and never really tried a game that interested me. The only games that did keep my interest were mobile ones😂. Maybe because I started trying pc games after having my brain fried by dopamine and mental illness.

"You are made to be engaged in some kind of activity."
I don't believe in most of what Goatis says, but what are you trying to say here? That you cannot be engaged in video games or that real engagement comes from working? Because that is some bullshit

It’s a good escape from reality, you are thinking about another world and temporarily escaping the current one.

Nobody likes to work. Nobody likes to wake up at 7AM, commute, and work for several hours, then come back home and work some more. People desperately seek out an escape from this type of life, because it is voluntary discomfort. Keeping all this in mind, how can you possibly say that real engagement comes from work, or that humans are meant to be engaging in work? If you think "real engagement" comes from performing work you don't want to do, then clearly you have genuinely never been interested in something in your life.

As for the "you cannot live without working" argument, it is completely irrelevant to this thread. Working and having fun in the same day are not mutually exclusive. You can have a balance of both.

Nobody likes to work.
Nobody likes to workout. You don't workout for the pain of the exercise but the result.
Nobody likes to wake up at 7AM
That is not every job.

Voluntary discomfort? But you can't live without money. But to gain money you need to work.

Because humans always have and will have to engage in work. Just because our society is build in an unpleasant way doesn't mean humans aren't made for work.

You said we are meant to live not work? You are implying that we don't need work and I simply said that's not tru

I never made this statement.

Good job completely disregarding everything I said. Nobody mentioned working out or the gym, and all your argument are based on the assumption that because the society we have today encourages us to work so much it must mean that humans are made to work.
"Voluntary discomfort? But you can't live without money. But to gain money you need to work." and what is this? Just because you need money to live does not mean working is not voluntary discomfort? People love money, but people dread to work to make it.

"You said we are meant to live not work? You are implying that we don't need work and I simply said that's not tru"

When did I imply that? When did I ever imply that? I said the ultimate purpose of our lives, what we are meant to do, is to live and enjoy life. We need work in order to achieve that, but that is secondary. Hopefully you won't misinterpret this too.

Also saying "not EVERY job requires you to wake up at 7am" is literally the equivalent of this:
