yes, although this is kind of water I agree.

Another reason for me what makes a good user is their objectivity , not going straight after insulting someone for a take that they may disagree on. I sometimes do this but hey it’s wtv

Why call it water?

Most people who call something "water" do the things without realizing it

and I think that quite often people need to revisit their classics

overall creates a net positive for the forum

whether it is...

• research (for example tinder experiments, now that the forum has existed for a while it isn't as necessary anymore, a tinder experiment saying attractive men get more matches is obvious)
• guides (BoTB, unique guides that are not looksmax related but still interesting etc)
• entertainment (slays, stories)
• adds something new (for example, menas making a looksmax.org extension)
• some form of argument that is positive (for example, arguing over a better moneymaking method)
• they get rid of bad users
• lastly, helpful user, they give good advice to others

looking back at it, it was pretty basic, but i think as long as they do any of these in a significant way, they are a good user

to just be a significant/remembered user, just be unique and popular

Most of the responses are people who think using the forum to do others things than reaserch for looksmax is bad

but they didn't think about the ecosystem around If menas hadn't created his extension for gradients( the gradient part was the most

important for me ), I don't think as many people would have been interested in putting that much effort into their threads

Too many people will think too simplistic and say, "It's just colors brah what the correlation with ascension."

those bs color can actually increase the chances that two or three people will read your thread about alopexy

These same colors will ensure that users who are always dnr-ed get a little more attention , for the threads they spent hours making


Too many people think that being a " good forum user " means just using the site for Looksmaxing, never socializing, and never interacting with the off-topic that's the right mindset for the title " ascend and forget " as they say

but in the same replies or 8 minute later they will mention helping other users and making the platform better

We all know that deep down, being a good user has more to do with the community than anything else
