Some expensive face washes made for acne have terrible ingredients in them (ironically bad for acne). I did my research over the last 4 years. Manufacturers use these ingredients to make product feel better, to make it foam. One face wash I bought, it cost like 55 bucks, had cocamidopropyl-betaine as its second ingredient, and denatured alcohol in fourth place, and fragrance in like 8th place. I used it for just a bit more than a week, bc I didn't do my research. I chucked it in the trash can
