Water fast for acne and gut health?

So I'm on 40mg accutane and that shit is taking months to do anything, acne is still vibing on my face. I am a bloated mf atm, is accutane not absorbing well cause of how shit my gut health is? Would going on a water fast reset my gut? JFL dipping my face in ice water is fixing my acne faster than accuatne... the last resort to acne
