I'm playing Call of Duty right now and I've just noticed how aiming in shooters feels a bit strange...
As you know, you need to gently massage sticks for precise aiming, and you do that over and over again for hours on end. You contrast that with keyboard and mouse controls where most inputs are binary, soulless, mechanistic...
It doesn't help that I use thumbstick grips, which are basically really bumpy areolas.
