My brain went fucking haywire immediately and I just gave off the most autistic responses ever, "uhh not me, but a lot of people do." like holy shit. Then she got closer on the side of me and I started having shortness of breath and my voice became shaky. Obviously the convo ended on an awkward note and when she walked away she had this look on her face like, "wtf is that? what a weirdo..." I've had a lot of cringe interactions the past 2 years but this one takes the cake jfl fucking over. Am I now my a lowcow at my job?

Practice for scenarios like this and learn to avoid doing the same shit and don’t impulsively say something and think about you response from their POV. You wont be perfect and ofcourse it’s masking but you could reduce the chances of this happening
