What about a beanie would frame my eyes better?

My eye area sucks, and my supraorbital ridge is narrow. I noticed when I have a beanie on, it seems to make my eyebrows and eyes look better. Initially I thought it may have been that it was obscuring the downward tilted edges of my eyebrows, but I pulled the hat back and they still looked better than normal. Is it just because it's hiding my ES ratio?
