Key word: RHINO, not septo

Septo is usually covered by NHS due to the severity of the condition (deviated septum can cause many sides)

But the consultation I have booked at a london clinic I’ve chosen, it says in the FAQ that rhino is RARELY covered by NHS

I remember once a woman got rhino due to “mental health issues” on the NHS, completely financed but this was a long long time ago

What rare cases will a cosmetic surgery like rhino be considered as something the NHS can fund nowadays?

Can always rely on my forum brœ
It's highly unlikely that they'll fund it to be fair, you may not be able to convince them by the time you're not on the waiting list

Yeah the only thing I don’t understand is how the NHS funds private clinics septo, is it a normal thing lol? Do they just give the green light to the private clinic to perform a septo and they do it, if that was the case no one would be on the NHS waitlist

if they will be choosing your surgeon then it
doesn't matter isince the NHS surgeons barely know which end of the scalpel to hold. you'll just get botched and shipped out,

Image result for doctor thumbs up

Rhino is famously the most skill based surgery, don't try to cheapskate your way through it

I have another consultation with a private ENT clinic which may be able to POSSIBLY see to it if i need a septorhino and whether it can be funded by the NHS, just need to say the right stuff, but idk how I can propose fake mental health issues to them I’ll fuck up on the spot due to anxiety like I hate my nose but I’ve never considered fucking killing myself lol at these redditors with suicidal thoughts because of their dorsal hump

You also need proof i.e. letters from your GP or specialist, documented formal therapy. You can try but I doubt they'll believe it given that many have probably tried.

Yeah tbf I genuinely only need septo, do u think septo will change the external appearance of the nose, my nose bridge is caved to the left side of my nose and makes it look wonky asf, there’s mixed opinions abt this

Highly unlikely given that it is a functional operation not a cosmetical one
