youre right. i was referring to real fasting.. a k a water fasting. so assuming you fast at least one day (will end up between 24-36 hours depending on when you sleep and break your fast), you will lose 0.5 lbs of pure fat.You can still gain weight if you fast, just a matter of how many calories you consume during your eating window.
It is easier to leanmax however since you have restricted eating time, so your calories intake most likely will be less, if your food is coming from whole sources, just don’t shovelling goyslop down your gullet during your eating window.

But yeah, even if you go 72 hours, you’ll preserve 99,99% of your muscle mass and shed a full kilo of fat within 3 days. Obviously don’t abuse it and use it sparklingly, like not more than once a month. Will also clear your gut, and improve insulin sensitivity.
