The Average Height of a 15-Year-Old Boy
There is no single “ideal” height for a 15-year-old boy because teenagers grow at different rates. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) growth reference, the median height for boys at around 15 years old is about 170–171 cm.
Research and growth charts show that a wide range of heights can be completely normal at this age. Some boys are shorter than average, while others are already much taller because puberty starts and progresses at different times.
For example, a height of about 175 cm at 15 years old is above the WHO median, but it is still within the normal range. Growth can also continue during the later teenage years, so a 15-year-old's current height does not necessarily represent his final adult height.
Therefore, there is no scientifically established “perfect” height for a 15-year-old. The most important thing is normal growth over time rather than reaching a particular number.
