What copes can help to fix sfs

I have a moderate sfs. my teeth barely shows when smiling, my lower third compresses when biting down, when i'm just not touching my teeth together it looks normal(my face is wide though) but my facial thirds become balanced, i saw some old video of an orthodontics doctor treating a sfs case to fix thier smile using braces to pull the teeth more downwards, so it can give the few mms missing for his smile, should i do that too? or i just start saving for double jaw surgery?

Yeah you can lengthen the teeth by removing gum I believe it’s called extrication or something but you won’t look any different, ratios and skull will still be fucked

If you genuinely have sfs you might be able to get insurance to pay for it

i though it might help because when i'm not touching my teeth the gap isn't really big so i though i can bite down without giving the subhuman look. however i can't get insurance to pay for that cause i live in Egypt which is a nigger country, im just so unfortunate :\

I have the same issue where I basically have to keep my mouth a little open 24/7 with my lips closed because my face just collapses whenever I bite down. Mine is so bad I look like a fish when I’m not frauding, like literally subhuman tier. I’m so insecure I don’t even like to eat around people. It is truly hell.

Honestly Ive been doing research about this for years and I seriously doubt orthodontics will make any noticeable aesthetic change, if it really bothers you might be worth just going to Turkey for a trimax cheap while being decent quality

I'm almost as insecure as you man, i feel like biting down when eating even when alone is a crime, and i cant be a wageslave because i live in the worst country ever, i just hope one day i can move and start saving for it, it's just so brutal when you have siblings that doesn't have sfs and you're the only cursed one among them, im really mentally destroyed, its either doing djs or roping

mines not severe hut also not mild i just avoid biting down and i have a short philtrum with a compact midface, also a bulbous nose, it looks normal when im not biting down otherwise im a goblin

i don't know if that counts as jutting but i just open my teeth a bit and closing my mouth, like relaxing my jaw not forcing it downwards

Yeah my dad has an amazing jaw and mogs the fuck out of me, shits embarrassing. It’s like seeing a superior version of myself, what I could’ve been if things didn’t go wrong in my development. I wish you success man sounds very brutal where you live
