What dental scans are needed for bimax?

Ramieri said I need an intraoral scan, and I got a referral just saying "requires an intraoral scan".
Is this just an x-ray, or a CT of the teeth? I already have a CT of the skull

Seems like a safe option, has a good reputation, and is more affordable than some others. I might not necessarily go with him but I'm at least consulting him
