Which is to some extend true imo, since many common believed things in the time of the Buddha, when Hinduism was also already established, are the same or similar. No, nothing. Some through words, but not alot. I have some Muslim customers, but I only talked with 1 about it. Most Muslims never wanna talk about it it seesm, it's almost like a ano go subject matter. To tense or something for them.
I talked about that with 1 customer, mainly only in the past, since I was pretty hardcore Buddhist at that time. And was vegatrian because of it. And I did plenty hardcore stuff, like fasting, 1 meal per day thing for uposatha days, and so on. Or at retreats.
So through my eating preference, it came to talk about religion.
Those Muslims mirin my efforts though. I was really hardcore religuous. These customers of mine where more like Muslims because it's just a label they were given already orso it fealt to me. Because I really had chosen Buddhisms back then, as it was not a common choice where I life nor cool or etc..
They desribed to me that Muslims had to do 3 things orso. But they did none. They always had cope excuses for not ramadan doing, and they never went to Saoudi Arabia yet, and tahat x amount of praying per day the also didn't do.
That's about it. I doubt I can ever become religuous again though. Probs not, or maybe. But not fulll beleiver like I as in the past in Buddhism. I can't be a soft rel;iguous person like many can, I noticed. I was once Buddhist for like 4-5 years. But I was/am intense, full effort and fully folliwing it, no short cuts. It's pretty difficult with my personality to follow religion, because I can't do it like most people on soft mode. And doing religion full effort mode, is often a hardcore as fuck instense lifestyle. I want to master and achieve all that is claimed, when I beleive/beleived in a religion. I'm not half assed type of person, but I'm full in type of person.
My Buddhist period, was pretty intense lifestyle wise.Plenty week lomng silent retreats. Vegan. fasting. minimalism, giving aweay alot, I got skinny as hell, alot of pohysical pain from sityting hours on cushion mediating, etc.. All part of good Busshist practise, but I doubt if I can put myself through such suffering again.

It for sure feels better for most, when there is: purpose, meaning, a liberation/heaven, a goal. I dunno if that's true. I had a debate with a phyllospher and psychologist about purpose and meaning. They both said, it was a human desire to have purpose and meaning; and we therefore create it or seek for it. But they basically said, that there is no need for purpose meaning in general, it's just something we somehow need. Seemed to make decent sense to me. But if you need it, you need it, so better get it. Because having a life that is lifeable, enjoyable, happy, it paramount. imo. At least, that's my practical opinion. PLenty religions can have great suggestions and systems, for keeping a good group and relationships I must say. Trying to cintrol the slutty nature of women, = legit for stability often.
