Title. I know a couple that got married a few years back. The wife is decent looking but from a lower middle class family and comes from a background where marriage is seen as a lifelong commitment from the outside, their marriage looks stable. The husband genuinely loves her and he's caring in many ways, provides for her, and treats her well in public.

But behind closed doors it is very one sided. He is very dominating egoistic person doesn't allow her to speak up or disagree freely. He is also apparently a sex addict and demands sex from her every single day regardless of whether she's in the mood, tired, or whatever.

In the beginning she went along with this dominant dynamic and didn't mind it much. But over time it started to wear her down When they disagree, he doesn't raise his hand or yell but completely shuts her out ignores her for days and treats her like a stranger in her own home Lately she's been hiding in the bathroom when he comes home from work because she dreads the pressure and emotional distance.

She's confided in one of my mum's kitty parties she is starting to hate this marriage but still cares for him on some level.

This is how most marriages used to be like before women entered the work force

don't think I would want a dynamic like that with my gf tbh. That's literally like having a sex doll. I want her to be able to freely express herself but still respect me and allow me to lead but I also want her to have her voice

I don't want a dynamic like this too. But I absolutely can't tolerate foids trying to be dominant. It's very off putting. Would rather have this than boss bitch.
