What do you think realistically happens after death?

What makes you think he will come back?
He didn't for the past 2k years andthere were awful wars that could end our race, still he isn't here again, what makes you think he will ever come back, I'd like to know?
Evidence Jesus existed, evidence which I believe proves gods existence. and Hope

Then why didn't God ever chat with you or give you any physical sign that he infact exists?

I want to hear the .org and it's thoughts
Experience ceases, forever. Consider how removing an eye always causes a loss of vision, and anesthesia a complete (but temporary) loss of consciousness. The mind depends on the physical body to exist

so pure nothingness

explain why you think that
  1. Nothing (the absence of something) cannot turn into something. as for nothing to turn into something it precedes the fact that nothing is the complete absence of something -> therefore something (you, your consciousness) must always be something even when 'you' die. also first law of thermodynamics - you (energy) cant be created or destroyed. Therefore we can establish the fact that when you die there won't be nothingness (whatever nothingness even means) and instead there will be something -> likelihood is this something will be a form of reincarnation

Right, just not a void or darkness. Trying to imagine non-existence is the issue, it doesn't "look" or "sound" like anything.

that would be crazy but isn't logical at all, if you want explain why do you think that
and flying wasn't considered logical nor realistic over a century ago, your thought process is simply outdated

entirely debunked by rudimentary logic

But no one guarantees you a consciousness even tho your energy isn't destroyed, consciousness is just our brain chemicals and hormones working together as a whole.
You will "exist" but you won't even know it basically, it's the same thing as non-existence basically.

ok ignore the thermodynamics argument then. address this
Nothing (the absence of something) cannot turn into something. as for nothing to turn into something it precedes the fact that nothing is the complete absence of something and neither can something turn into nothing (the absence of something) because, well it's the absence of something -> therefore something (you, your consciousness) must always be something even when 'you' die.

But consciousness is caused by physical phenomena, not composed of it in a literal spatial sense. Mental states (sense, thought, emotion) are not objects we can find inside of the brain, because what makes the brain physical in the first place is not its visual appearance to us (which is a pattern of colors). We recognize the physical world through patterns between events, causal regularities which appear to be independent of our knowledge. For example, consider a scenario where you've noticed again and again a relationship between seeing a plate falling and hearing a loud sound. One day, you wake up to a loud sound and see a broken plate on the floor. You're then reminded of these previous instances, but obviously you didn't actually see the plate fall until later (through memory), so you know it can't be the seeing part which causes the sound. As this happens more and more, we become increasingly certain of this second, objective category.

this doesnt address the extremely simple logic presented below, like at all. the only existing axiom is whether or not you consider your consciousness 'something', it doesnt matter if the phenomena is material or immaterial

It does address it, because consciousness just isn't something you can split up into tiny particles. This is why me and you even have separate minds in the first place, because not all phenomenon creates consciousness.

lul what, who said anything about particles

the axioms are
  1. do you consider your consciousness 'something' as opposed to 'nothing'
  2. nothing (absence of something) cannot turn into something
  3. something cannot turn into nothing (absence of something)

If all 3 axioms are correct, then experience/consciousness (interchangeable) can never cease to exist

realistically i think, your brain ceases and then nothing, like a house without residents, nothing happens. although it is hard for the human mind to comprehend the idea of nothingness because we have never experienced it.
all the dead-come-back-to-life stories i've seen are only when the heart stops and not when someone's brain died and came back so I assume nobodys actually survived brain death, cardiac arrest is brain on copium and doesnt count
