i only have been doing cardio like 30 mins treadmill and hiit (occasionally) and im curious on what you guys did to get leaner

Its all diet and you're doing the cardio thing right keep doing it and take care of your diet. Never skip cardio do daily btw.

Wouldnt cardio lower cortisol? i have dumbells at home should i just do weight lifting?

Just low intensity cardio. But u'd probably want to do extensive cardio to burn more calories lol so its best to just shut ur mouth

Yes, do full body, It will probably speed up ur weight loss process.

Just do the things i told u but also eat your food and carbs cuz you're still growing ik its water but it'll still keep you in shape

Eat good foods
no processed food
Im still in puberty that might mess my hormone

With cardio you can eat way more food instead of starve maxing at 1600 cals

Long cardio. Do it for 60+ minutes.
But idk, u dont have to do what you don't like. Just be patient and dont eat too much lol
Ideally, u would practice a sport u enjoy, so u could spend hours exercising and burning calories without realizing it.

Low intensity doesn’t do shit you need fat burning cardio so you don’t burn off tissue

yeah, u can do more cardio to burn more kcal, or eat less kcal, or count kcal weekly. Overall its all abt kcals lol
But doing intense cardio daily?idk. Each to their own

Vast majority of the battle is just being on a calorie deficit. Your workout method is mostly just personal preference. I do HIIT a few days and one longer cardio session, along with weight training ofc

This is true too. If you don't involve strength training and build some minor muscle, you'll just look skinny fat (I learned the hard way before :feelswhy:)

How TF do you do interval training at low intensity jfl. Like you just go slowly for a minute then stop all together? 🤨

If u do cardio in LIIT, u walk at a pace thats a bit faster than normal for one or two minutes, then slow down to a very light walk for two to three minutes, and keep alternating this pattern for twenty to forty minutes; ur breathing gets faster but you can still hold a conversation, and the effort never feels uncomfortable, working almost like a walk with bursts of pace, ideal for beginners, older adults, or anyone getting back into training.

Ohh interesting, never heard of that. Not sure why a healthy, non morbidly obese young person would consider that cardio tho

go do fun things outside that you enjoy, play sports, maybe go take martial arts classes. Trying to spam a cardio exercise feels like a chore, if you want to burn more calories that is good but do it by upping your daily activity overall, it will have a much bigger impact than running for 30 minutes a day tbh. If you are living an active lifestyle you can eat alot. Under desk treadmill + standing desk is a very good cheat
