What factors actually make a guy “cute” (not Chad/hot)?

Bros, serious question.


In high school a bunch of girls would straight up call me “cute” (sometimes even in front of their friends). I’m not coping — I know I’m average at best, nowhere near Chad or even Chadlite territory. No hunter eyes, no strong jaw, nothing like that. So I’ve been wondering:


What actual facial + body factors make girls label a guy “cute” instead of handsome/hot?


Is it:


• Neoteny / babyface (big eyes, soft jaw, rounder features)


• Pretty-boy hair / styling


• Smaller frame / less dimorphism


• Upturned nose, full lips, smooth skin, etc.


• Or is some of it just vibe/personality leaking into looks?


Also lowkey thinking my brain got wired weird because I used to binge harem romance anime hard. The MC is almost always the relatable average/cute guy who ends up with the whole roster. Wonder if that slipped into my subconscious and affected how I see “attractive” or how I carried myself.


Anyone else get the “cute” label a lot despite being mid? Or have theories on cute vs handsome vs hot looks? Drop pics/examples if you want, I’m curious what the consensus is here.
