Isotretinoin has vitamin A. An over dose of vit A would help you mature the bones faster. Making your growth plates close faster, depends alot on the dosages because like I said, an overdosageElaborate
none, accutane only has 1 ingredient, isotretinoin, called vitamin a acid@Jonas2k7 @halloweed @org3cel.RR @Hexmask

Like @2marc1 said, accutane: active ingredient = isotretinoin. Thats what has the effects, its not like they added some other shit that stunts growth ykElaborate
Yeah, I didnt think he was referring to fillers inside the capsulesEvery pill has ingredients, active and inactive ones
Its a derivate of vitamin A not actual Vitamin A itself.Isotretinoin has vitamin A. An over dose of vit A would help you mature the bones faster. Making your growth plates close faster, depends alot on the dosages because like I said, an overdosage

Correction osteotomy for bilateral varus knee deformity caused by premature epiphyseal closure induced by hypervitaminosis A: a case report - PubMed
To the best of our knowledge, this represents the first report of correction osteotomy for varus knee deformity due to premature epiphyseal closure that occurred during treatment with isotretinoin.pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Yup, correct, but I would say accutane is still worth it if u dont over do it, 30 mg weekly is enough for me (I had severe acne)Like @2marc1 said, accutane: active ingredient = isotretinoin. Thats what has the effects, its not like they added some other shit that stunts growth yk

I never researched about accutane so i wouldn’t know lolLike @2marc1 said, accutane: active ingredient = isotretinoin. Thats what has the effects, its not like they added some other shit that stunts growth yk

So from my understanding, it’s a vitamin A Derivative, and it’s shown that excessively high levels of vitamin A can be terrible for chondrocyte profilerationI have an old post I made about accutane, from the research I did in pubmed it showed that premature fusing was from long periods of giga doses in young people.
When I ran it I did 10-20mg a daySo from my understanding, it’s a vitamin A Derivative, and it’s shown that excessively high levels of vitamin A can be terrible for chondrocyte profileration
But low dose wouldn’t hurt?
What’s the average dosage supposed to be then? When I ran it I did 10-20mg a day
Depends on you. I have a friend who was running like 80-100mg a day prescribed by his derm. He's got perfect skin now though and never gets acne and uses estrogen cream on his faceWhat’s the average dosage supposed to be then?
