I mean, with 5.5/10 you wont say that particular person is noticably more good looking than average. Its borderline average.

5.5 is really not that low, he is noticeably more attractive in the sense that he has something like good harmony/good eyes/good jaw, something that makes him above average by half a point. Of course he won't be considered universally good looking but still a lot more girls will notice him instead of average dude.
