What is the final verdict on chewing and masseter hypertrophy?

Every thread I find, I see equal parts saying it's good or bad (same shit will probably happen in here).

Anyway, my jaw is already pretty solid, got around a 1.2-1.25 zygomatic width to jaw width ratio. As from what I can tell my masseters are low set outward.

Never done any hard chewing on gum etc. SO... could I potentially benefit from this
