What is the redness under eyes when using tazarotene ?

3 weeks ago started using 0.1 tazarotene my skin got a bit dry but i just moisturised it more so its not a problem but i got that redness under eyes and its visible i tried using it 2 days on 1 day off it helped a bit but i can still see it. What is that shit? Is that going away or what? And how can i fix it

Moisturize and don't use around eyes, the skin around eyes is too thin for it
