I stay in shape and take good care of myself, so I doubt it's fat.

My theory is that it has something to do with my braces and mandible growth.

When I was super young, I had an underbite that I'm pretty sure was fixed with Orthodontic Camouflage Treatment, where they tilted my teeth.

Then 3 1/2 years ago, I got alignment braces that straightened everything out. I also got a ceph scan before I got my second round of braces, so if it helps:

3 1/2 years ago:

My SNB angle was 87.5*

My SNA angle was 87*

I got those braces off 2 years ago, and now I feel like my front edge of my bottom teeth and back edge of front teeth rest rubbing against each other.

My best theory is that this uncomfortable bite is overworking my jaw muscles and stretching my lips out, because prior to my alignment braces, my lower third was wayyy more appealing at (13) than it is now (16).

I'm open to going back to my ortho and asking for some sort of fix, but before I do so, I just want some extra intel. I would appreciate anyone's help.

doesnt count in your upper jaw just your lower jaw/mandible
So if I understand SNA only tells you forward backward and it may be recessed vertically either to narrow or to wide and tilted? Is this what you mean? If you can tell which plane you think is most recessed and If you know about a way to calculate with a ceph scan the other planes to be more accurate please let me know.
