I'm not too sure, all I know is that my motivation is definitely not money.

Anytime I discuss something new with my dad (for example, the digital upload of a fruitfly's brain), his first thought is how you could monetise it. That's just not for me, I think my why is recognition and advancement. Power as well, but that's mutually inclusive with money.

I’d say it’s a mix of money, recognition, and wanting to help the human race advance or progress in some form. Very big goals but it’s boring to think any smaller lol
