The one with infared or the one with 660 nm ?

I heard infared is bad for skin, is it true?

infrared harmful? isn't that the whole point of the lamp? I got 660nm+850nm led but hasn't arrived yet. pls don't tell me I have to toss half of it

There are lots of studies saying that infared damages the skin and collagen. Most of infared lamps in the normal market having a to high nm . I think 850 is ok. I‘m searching for one with only 660nm cause this is optimal for skin. I just noticed that the one in the description can‘t be delivered to germany.

link to a legit study? most leds have 850nm afaik, or do you mean normal lamps? don't think those are good because they produce a lot of heat instead of infrared afaik. all I saw was this thread https://looksmax.org/threads/redlight-therapy-is-legit-everyone-gtfih.24622/ which convinced me. and also the sun is 55% infrared which is basically just weaker, non visible red light so idk how it could be harmful if the visible spectrum isn't I'd also like to know if tanning goggles protect the eyes adequately during red light therapy, wouldn't want to use it on face without proper protection. anybody here a long term user of these lamps?

you don't see the 850nm, you only see the 660nm because it's mixed. the other one is only 660nm so you see all

Yes ,human eyes can Only see max 760nm
