What looks better: short or long nose?

I have a shit nose because it's a little bit upturned and looks short (length to width ratio also sucks, around 1.3). I wonder if longer noses are better because your philtrum looks shorter and your nose looks narrower due to its length.

long nose usually comes paired with long mid-face, but it depends on how long your upper and lower thirds are and the length of your philtrum.

if you have a long philtrum having a shorter nose is better, if you have a short philtrum you can get away with having a longer nose.

upturned is usually flat nasal bridge + curve, hence why you see it in asians.
