My hair at the front is around nose tip and the sides reach the middle of my ear. Recommend haircuts as well.

Depends on what kind of haircut you want, is it faded or do you want the sides and back overgrown? Barbers are only useful for fades and fades look ass most of the time while lasting 5 days

I want sides and back overgrown. Barbers always cut way too much when I go and always resort to fades.

A woman's one? What's your experience of one?
I used to search for the closest mens salon, they did a pretty good job the first time and didnt cut too much like barbers usually did, if u cant find a specific mens hairsalon go to normal ones and ask if they are experienced with cutting shorter hairstyles for men

My hair is like 6 inches at front so it's like medium length. I just want them to layer it properly, texturize and clean up while maintaining most of the length.

Pretty much every mens hair salon can do that and 90% of womens hair salons can usually do the same. But just be sure and ask beforehand if theyre actually experienced with cutting mens hair.

Salon, clipper cuts are shit and too sharp scissor cuts are softer but can give good angles
