What music programs would be really good for someone who is new to making music?

I can get cracked versions of FLstudio but I want to get used to actual making something simple first before using more complex programs like FLstudio. If you know any, I would like to see them thank you.

FL Studio hud makes it seem more complicated than it actually is, watch 2/3 youtube tutorials for begginers and you are good to go. the actual complex features, you don't need to use for now.

thank you, so reaper is the way then for now?
the reason i went with reaper was because the genre i liked was best made in there and the few resources were on reaper
u can definitely make these with both so id say pick it depending on the tutorial resources of the good prods of your genre

How can I use an instrument in it? I know I can import midis and audio files but how can I write my own samples? I do not have any eletrical instruments

Fl Studio + cracked VSTs

I mainly use Serum, Nexus2, OTT, Shaperbox, Hive2, and Soothe2 for my hyperpop/edm stuff
