What to do about not liking raw liver's flavour?

It doesn't taste bitter, because it is from a local farmer, but it does taste and smell very metallic. I tried it today and immediately the smell put me off. The flavor is the same as the smell. It did end up growing a bit on me though, because I was starting to get used to the smell and the blood tasted a bit sweet, but I still dislike it.

Is there anything I can do besides cooking about that metallic taste? I'm afraid of cooking it because it destroys part of the nutrients in the liver.

If you don't hate the smell of it raw you won't hate its taste.

At least it feels good to me that the liver I got isn't bitter raw, which apparently means it's from a healthy animal
