What weights are normal in the gym?

depends on the exercise,

but in my experience, you should be lateral raising at least 20kg (45lbs) on the single-pulley cable for 12-14 reps with good form to start. this is the benchmark

"Normal" doesn't work in kilos, only in ratios to bodyweight. Realistic marks for a trained lifter after a year: bench around 1x bodyweight, squat 1.5x, deadlift 2x, weighted pull-up around a quarter of bodyweight added for a single.
