No. The mandible needed to be moved back. He was deformed before due to it being so forward
He was deformed due to his maxilla being recessed; his mandible was fine. Moving the mandible back is terrible for aesthetics AND breathing ability.

Even if that were the case you cant move the maxilla by such an amount and if it eere possible he’d look like a schäfer

JFL if you think moving the maxilla 10mm is impossible

btw I’ve actually had bimax myself, unlike you retarded do-nothing rotters

It wasn’t JUST his maxilla being recessed. His mandible was far too forward, it looked ridiculous. It went out to the edge of his nose

Moving the maxilla forward would advance the nose....

Only if he got a lefort 2 or 3. A lefort 1 (which is by far the most common procedure to more the maxilla during orthognathic surgery) does not move the nasal base.

And the original quote you replied to, about him looking “chimpish” is not due to moving the mandible back. Even if they only moved the maxilla to meet his existing mandible, he would look even MORE chimpish, not less

He was just pushing his mandible forward

he looks chimpish because of convex nasolabial contour + recessed chin (very obvious when his tilted head is corrected to neutral position)
