They could easily use small, tactical nukes instead of conventional bombing, there are these compact nukes with yields from 10 to 1000 tons of TNT that could prove very efficient in this war, it's pretty baffling why they haven't used them yet, Trump wanted for example to use them against ISIS but his generals refused...
