5’4 and 6’3 is a big difference. Kids will probably be shorter

Genetics are a very funny thing. I inherited a shit ton of personality traits from my mother's father while all of his many other descendants inherited very little of them. My son inherited most of my personality traits.

One thing I'm grateful he didn't inherit from me though is my tendency to freak out and become unreasonable over disappointments. Today we told him we're gonna take him to the local aquatic center to go swimming. However a bit of important business came up and we had to go spend most of the day in another town. We told him that we wouldn't be able to go. He was visibly upset but otherwise took it very well. I would have flipped out at his age.
