I have no idea, I heard that it doesn't really matter as long you're in a healthy range.

Matters, just not as much as androgen receptors. 1000 ng/dl won't do much if 90% of your androgen receptors aren't binding to them.

What's the cost

I don't think you can increase the amount of androgen receptors per se, but I think you can increase sensitivity. Microplastics are one of the main culprits in reducing androgen sensitivity (I don't remember the exact number, but it was very high like 60%).

It matters. Also normal levels is considered 300-900 or some shit, but anything below 300 and you're able to be diagnosed as "low T". So if you're 299 ng/dl, that's diagnosable as "low T". At that point, 300 is still low T regardless of whether it's considered normal or not. I think you want to reach higher around 500 and then that would be normal. It also matters because you still need the hormone to bind to androgen receptors.

I don't think it was some herbs that lowered your T. Just make sure you aren't over training and getting adequate rest. You could also have a vitamin deficiency, but I doubt it since testosterone fluctuates (your test could have went up since your last test then down then back up and so on). Main vitamin deficiency you should always look at first is vitamin D.

You do look like a high DHT monster with those eyebrows

When I was low t at 16 I could feel it
Got my levels up to 901 ng/dL recently I can feel the difference even my face changed a lot

i was taking 4000iu of d3 perday and lions mane, ashwaganda, tongkat ali . i do kinda think it has something to do with rest and recovery i skipped on protein powders i didnt drink or eat out if plastic.

how to know if i have high androgen receptors
I think there are tests that you can get from doctors. Idk how you can exactly tell on the surface, but if you know for sure your androgen sensitivity isn't being impaired by factors like plastic or some other shit AND your testosterone is at regular levels, then look at your secondary sexual characteristics and libido, but your answer could be dependent on what stage of physical development you're at (i.e. pre or post-puberty).

I mean, it could just be regular testosterone fluctuation since it's not really a stagnate thing to look at. If you are actively seeing loss of muscle or some other signs, then that's when you should really worry, but yeah if you are having problems with rest and lack of good recovery (you did say you were training 2x a day, but idk how hard or what that kind of training).

For plastic, it's a little bit more complicated than just eating or drinking out of plastic, but you're doing more than a lot of people anyways and a good portion of microplastic problems come from food related intake like how it seeps into your milk or whatever you can think of.
