Probably Season One Episode Nine, "The Smiling Friends Go to Brazil!" While it subverts the "formula" of smiling friends (Charlie and Pim going on an adventure to help someone smile) it is still substantially the show. One thing that Smiling Friends does right, is natural sounding dialogue of interlocutors. I also like the Pickle Rick episode.
