Nevermind but maspe is slower and over. A longer period while Marpe is rapid expansion over weeks or so

Same appliance, different turning speed. Unless you're using aligners alongside the expansion, faster is better—having a gap between your teeth for too long sucks. On the other hand, if you're older, a faster turning speed risks complications, like bone fractures. But if you're young, that shouldn't be a concern
