What's the point of having fillers?

Seriously? Plastic surgery should be only about permanent changes. What's the point of having fillers if you have to do them every year.

fillers looks better than implants in some cases since you're litterally adding tiny bits at a time, sculpting your face to perfection

Because fillers work. Fillers can easily add angularity, definition and mass without any problem. They are cheap and temporary.

implants aren't necessarily permanent and come with a lot of potential issues

Yes I consider that a big problem, imagine if civilization falls and plastic surgeons die so you won't be able to make fillers and will be exposed to other survivors

because some changes can't be made without them. More hooding to the upper eyelids for example. You can do fat graft but that has way more complications, fillers are good in this case. Or perhaps very slight asymmetry on one side of ur chin for example at the base, getting a tiny bit of filler every year is no big deal. Or if u have a dimple in ur chin u want filled in etc.

There is good application for them, and fillers build on each other where a little is left permanent every time so u need less and less as time goes on. However some people use filler to literally add volume to every part of their face, jaw chin, zygos, undereye etc. And this is retarded.

I agree with you. Fillers can be good to fix little details but not to shape your entire face imo. I believe it may completely destroy the harmony of it.
