Who would waste like 400$ to literally have the exact same things that you already have on your phone. You need to be mental or a delusional foid

It's so that they can farm dopamine from their NPC friends

"DAMN BRO, YOU GOT THE NEW APPLE WATCH?" - :soy:
"YEAH MAN, I CAN FINALLY TELL THE TIME NOW" - :soy:

So I can farm dopamine inside my NPC head and tell my friends the time.

I've got one. Do I need it? No not really. Do I regret getting it? No.
It's useful in a sense that it tracks and keeps simple data, such as heart beat, steps, sleep time. So you can reflect back on it sometime in the future, make more conscious decisions with what you're doing in your life(review in retrospect the hard data) also nice and fun, if you're going for the runs, as it provides some interesting data, nothing for yourself. It's just an interesting thing for me to go over.
I paid 50 euros or even less, idr. Got amazfit blip. It lasts nearly a month between charges.
Also very convenient, because you can easily check what time it is(never owned any watch before) and also you can make custom extensive alarms, like phone charge levels(high, low, customisable) alarm(watch vibrates and wakes you up), reminders, messages, notifications from phone, calls, etc. Though, I don't use majority of those functions. Imo it was worth it for me, but also wouldn't pay more than 50. Unless better and more features(sleep tracker is a bit wonky sometimes, so if you care for that, you need to dogwatch it, which is a bit annoying tbh)

People with smart watches are absolute bugmen. Get a proper automatic watch

It's retarded I realized it was bullshit when I got the first android smartwatch that came out back in 2015. I got the Moto G watch or some shit I can't even remember the name of it. I just hated charging it every night. I don't wear a watch anymore I just use my phone watches usually look like shit unless you get an expensive one.

Only useful if your teacher/boss will give you shit for pulling out your phone to check the time.

The trackers on it aren't going to be accurate and they make tons of estimations, not worth it imo until the technology gets vastly better.

I didn't mean smart watches bellow 100 dollars, i meant something like the apple watches that cost like 400$ which is insane and do 90% of the stuff 50$ smart watches do

Well, yeah. Idk why would anyone buy something for 400, when you can buy it for 40... So.
40 seemed cheap enough for me to try it out. Not regretting. Didn't change my life or anything, but I'm content with spending this much money for what I've got. Also water proof, I go to bath, shower, swim without a care. Also I can shine it in the dark, if I need some makeshift light somewhere in the dark place.
Tbh my phone is like 300 new, so...
