Imo if you're overweight/obese you should ditch weightlifting entirely, cut calories as much as you can tolerate and only do cardio, weightlifting can come after, in everyone else's case I agree though“Bro you should do cardio before weightlifting”

I used to think this, but it's important to incorporate some level of resistance training.
