just wanted to mention this, then i saw your reply. the 6 pic shows why this is true.
but the method is correct, you just need to take proper pics, like with any measuring (when you measure fwhr for example, the face should be rotated to align in F. plane, some miss this part and randomly get 2.2+ fwhr which is absurd)

this is one of the best ways to measure forward growth, but the last point at the lip seal is under some heavy, irrelevant influence of lip thickness, lip resting posture, pouting and other lip morphology parameters = soft tissues and not bone structure. the margin of error could be in range of like 1-5 degrees here, which is too much, like a literal distance between tiers in your reference values

maybe measure the average between these 2 angles, not much soft tissue variation here:

idk the reference values for this atm tho

(+this method of measuring accounts for the lower jaw too, which is def relevant when you're measuring forward growth)

This is most useful. If this ratio is of great inequality, the face will be ugly, as either the midfacd will be hypoplasic or the head will be too short too brachy.

The angle itself does not seem to be useful in ascertaining if a face is attractive, but it can be used to describe the structure of a face.
