Whats your opinion on the bodybuilding meme diet of chicken/beef/fish, rice, and some type of vegetable? Do you think this is optimal or do you have a better diet plan? Do you use a carb other than rice? Obviously not every meal but do you think this is a solid meal on its own?

I've never stuck to it for more than a week or two but apparently it's the goat due to mostly how easily it gets digested, allowing you to eat many meals through the day.

Never done it tbh ngl

As a natty LowCarb-ish diets are easier to follow, for me at least.

Most days I have eggs for breakfast, feta cheese for dinner, and combos of protein+produce for lunch, which is the only variable in my diet.

as a sidenote, there're studies that show:
  • you don't need carbs pre/post workout to build muscle
  • carbs don't make you fat

lol that's the "title"

  • ~200gr of feta cheese(greek yogurt would be better, but I don't like it tbh ngl)
  • a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • some oregano
  • chia seeds
  • 5-10 olives
if my workout is close to that meal i eat some fruit, as well

edit: I'm only 5'8, so obviously taller dudes would rage with so few calories

Oh ok. Do you count calories or macros or do you just try to eat good?
 
I forgot to mention: also some veggies. I usually eat half for lunch, half for dinner.

I'm only aware of the protein quantity(20-40gr/meal depending on my activity) and wether something is mainly fat or carbs tbh ngl

If I want to lower "calories"(not counting) I reduce a bit carbs or fat.

Wild caught Alaskan king salmon w sweet potato fries tbh

But I do like sushi and wagyu beef (usually Japanese black cattle imported or raised here ) since can’t get matsuzaka here .. cooked w sugar , soy sauce , and sake . Oh and then dipped in whisked raw quail egg

I stay away from rice and keep my carbs to 20g per day. Never tried Cauliflower rice yet.
