and I completely get where you are coming from. I got one of the most downgrown maxillas on this site myself, from 4 premolar extractions before puberty, 7yrs of braces with elastics + deviated septum I never got straightened from an elbow in the nose when I was younger
And like you, I also got craniofacial deformities. We're both in the same boat. Hopefully we both ascend

Sad to hear brother, but at least we're not alone. These days, many people struggle with poor growth trajectories and inadequate treatment.

As for me, I'm currently in the final stages of Invisalign following MSE. While it was necessary to address my sleep apnea, it was a looksmin move.
The expansion ended up being asymmetrical, and now my upper palate is slightly tilted.
When I bite down, only the teeth on my left side make contact, the same side where I’m experiencing cartilage resorption around the TMJ and sharp daily pain. So, it’s pretty rough atm.

I’m planning to have a bimaxillary surgery within the next 1-2 years to correct the skeletal Class 3. A rhinoplasty is also a possibility, since my nose widened significantly after MSE, and also in an asymmetrical manner.

But hopefully you got other benefits such as increased palate width.. and Bimax will be able to fix the canted teeth.
Maybe in the long run it was a looksmax move, I feel it’s increased your ceiling for potential
And at least there’s no sleep apnea, so your health will be way better, esp sleep quality which = much better mental performance/mental health, which I think in the long run will have far better gains than any minor looks trade off (that potentially doesn’t even exist)

Exactly, I see it as a long-term investment. Personally, I value brain and mental health/ overall cognitive function, as equally important, if not more important, than looks in the long run.
So I have no regrets- I am only halfway through treatment.
Maybe it's because I'm already 26, still relatively young, but noticeably older than most users here who are still in school, and where looks are arguably even more important than during adulthood.

Bimax surgery will definitely enhance my looks. But my main motivation is actually to resolve severe TMJ issues. The pain, especially around the ear region, is unbearable at times.
By repositioning the jaws, the pressure on the joint will hopefully be significantly reduced, which will bring major relief.

2023 for me with the chico edits and learning the word ''mog'' although jfl I will say that phase didn't last for maybe the end of 2023 I went slightly into Lookmaxxing but frl did nothing just discovered hyper pop and a few creators and did a few cope exercises

it was only untill like April of last year I used to have really long hair like hair that would go below my shoulders and cut it off and had short girl and got super into the basics hair texture etc

but than around sept is when I found bp and than tried join but got denied each time jfl untill now ofc
